When I started at Western Technical College I had no idea what I wanted to do. It took me two full years of taking generals and a semester off to figure out what I wanted to do, and that was Marketing. I love everything about Marketing, from how to promote products, to learning how people’s brains work, it was all interesting too me. After about a year of Marketing, I decided I wanted to own a business, and it just so happened the business I had been working for went up for sale. I didn’t waste anytime and decided to buy Custom Curbing, because I want it to be my fault if I fail, I don’t want to rely on anyone else but myself. After deciding to buy the business I realized that I needed more knowledge about running a business, that’s when I decided I needed to enroll in the entrepreneurship course they also offer at Western. Through both of these programs I have completely changed my life, and gave me a clear purpose of what I wanted to do in life. I owe a lot to Western Tech, in no way shape or form would I be here without them.
